The truth is,

Wed Feb 18, 2009, 8:31 PM
I would never consider myself an "artist".

Painters, Sculptors, Musicians- those are artists.

I am a conduit.

I am nothing without the beauty that's already in the world.

you have a nice gallery... I think you could very well say that you are an artist. You could argue about your professional level... but the pictures you have here manipulations and "normal" shots are cool and special if not even unique and therefore art.

It is a strange world where artist may get "offical" diplomas so they may be officially considered a creative person.

IMHO it doesn't matter what you do, as long as it's creative and people like it (you, your friends and family count as well) it is an artistic activity.

I try to keep it up as long as possible to call the stuff I do and like as art, at some point people just have to believe me... ;)

Thanks for the look. Sorry this is long overdue. True there is a fine line between flying and falling. I actually support my camera hobby teaching folks how to fly. The corollary in my business is there's a fine line between landing and crashing. We have a lot in common. Nice portfolio!
